Week 13
Congratulations! You’ve made it to the second trimester of pregnancy. During week 13 of pregnancy, your baby is the size of a plum. Your little one’s vocal cords are developing. (Just think forward to your child saying a sweet “I love you.”) Your baby’s intestines, which have been growing in the umbilical cord, have moved to your little one’s abdomen. Fingerprints are forming on your child’s tiny fingertip, and by week 25 each print will be fully developed with unique patterns of arches, whorls and loops.

I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Prayer: Identity in Christ
Heavenly Father,
You are a masterful Creator.
I’m in awe of how You have created this precious baby, knowing all the hairs on his or her head.
Right now, my baby’s fingerprints are starting to form. No one else will share these same unique identifying marks.
I pray that as my child grows, he or she comes to fully understand that their worth and identity come from Christ. Not from what others think. Not from social media.
I pray my baby dives deep into Your Word to learn who You truly created him or her to be.
May my sweet little one invite Your Holy Spirit to reside within his or her heart.
In Your Name, I pray,
