Week 22
During week 22 of pregnancy, your little one is the size of a papaya, and hair may be visible on your baby’s head. It’s amazing that our Heavenly Father created your child with every fine detail in mind - even the number of hairs on his or her head.
Cherish this magical time as you nurture a breathtaking creation, a masterpiece in the making. Thank our Creator for loving each of us so intimately. Pray that your little one will never feel forgotten or alone. May he or she feel valued and truly known by God.
Scripture: Luke 12:6-7
Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.
Prayer: Your Child will feel Truly Known by God
Dear God,
You are the Creator of all life. As I carry my precious little one in my womb, my heart overflows with gratitude and awe for Your love and intimate knowledge of each one of us. You know the number of hairs on our heads, and You knit us together in our mother's womb with intricate detail and care.
Thank You, Lord, for the blessing of new life and for the joy that this little one brings to my heart. I pray that as my child grows and enters the world, he or she will never feel forgotten or alone. May my little one always know the depth of Your love and the care of Your guiding hand. May he or she seek Your will and live a life of purpose and meaning, using his or her unique gifts and talents to make a difference in the world.
