Week 25
During week 25 of pregnancy, your little one is the size of an acorn squash. Your child's body is becoming more proportional, with the head now only taking up around a third of the body.
Your little one is starting to accumulate fat stores, which will help regulate their body temperature after birth. Until now, your baby has been long and lean, but from this point on, they will start to gain weight in preparation for their big debut.
Your child's organs, including the lungs, continue to mature, and their little heart is beating stronger and stronger. You might even be able to feel his or her hiccups, which can be a fun and exciting experience.
As you continue on your pregnancy journey, take time to cherish every moment with your little one, from feeling their kicks to hearing their heartbeat. It's an incredible experience and a beautiful reminder of the miracle of life.

Teach me your way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.
Prayer: Teachable Spirit
Heavenly Father,
I come before You today grateful for the gift of this precious little one growing within me and for the privilege of being entrusted with his or her care.
Lord, as I prepare to welcome this child into the world, I ask for Your grace and guidance. I pray that You would grant my child a humble heart and a teachable spirit, that he or she may grow in wisdom and knowledge of You.
As Your Word says in Psalm 86:11, "Teach me your way, O Lord, that I may walk in your truth; unite my heart to fear your name." I pray that my child would always seek to learn from You, to follow Your ways, and to have a heart that fears You.
May my little one’s mind be open to Your truth, and his or her spirit be receptive to Your leading. May my child have a hunger and thirst for righteousness and a love for Your word. And may he or she grow to be a light in this world, pointing others to You by his or her words and actions.
Thank you for Your faithfulness and love, and for the promise that when we seek You with our whole heart, we will find You. I trust You with the future of my child, and I pray that my baby will always know the depth of Your love and the peace that comes from knowing You.
