Week 26
During week 26 of pregnancy, your baby is the length of a zucchini. At this point, your little one may be able to respond with changes in breathing and movement when he or she hears your voice.
Speaking to your child in the womb is a beautiful act of connection. Though their world may seem distant, they can hear the sound of your voice and respond with breathtaking sensitivity. Every word you utter becomes a tender thread that weaves love, comfort, and familiarity into your baby’s developing being. So, let your voice be a constant melody of affection and encouragement, for even in the womb, your child hears the warmth of your words and the boundless love that surrounds him or her.
Scripture: Ephesians 4:15
Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.
Prayer: Integrity
Heavenly Father,
With a humble heart, I come before You today, overflowing with gratitude and awe for the precious gift of life growing within me. Thank You, Lord, for this miracle.
As I speak to my child, Lord, I am filled with wonder and joy, knowing that even from within the womb, my little one can hear my voice. It is a sweet reminder of Your intricate design and the intimate bond You have bestowed upon us. Help me, Lord, to cherish this sacred connection and to speak words of love, encouragement, and wisdom, shaping my baby’s spirit even before he or she enters this world.
In Your Word, Ephesians 4:15 reminds us of the importance of speaking the truth in love. Today, I lift up a prayer for my child's future integrity, Lord. May my little one grow with an honest heart, rooted in the values and principles that honor You. May my child’s words be imbued with grace and truth, a reflection of Your light shining through them.
Thank You, Lord, for the immeasurable blessing of this child. Help me to always remember that my little one is ultimately Yours, entrusted to my care for a season. May I raise him or her to know You, to love You, and to walk in Your ways.
