Week 28
At 28 weeks, your precious baby, the size of a head of lettuce, is blossoming within your womb. Your little one’s senses are functioning, creating a world of connection and discovery. Their delicate ears capture the melodies of your voice, their tiny nose breathes in the scent of your presence, and their tiny fingers reach out to explore the boundaries of their existence. Every moment, of your baby’s growth is a testament to the miracle of life and the depth of love between you.
Scripture: 1 Peter 5:5
In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.
Prayer: Humility
Heavenly Father,
In the embrace of Your unwavering love, I come before You with a heart full of gratitude and anticipation for the precious life growing within me. As I approach the milestone of 28 weeks in this miraculous journey, I humbly lift up my prayers to You, seeking Your divine guidance and grace for my child’s future.
Lord, Your Word in 1 Peter 5:5 reminds us of the importance of humility, stating, "Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for 'God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.'" I pray that You instill in my child a spirit of humility from the earliest moments of their existence. May they listen to the wisdom and guidance of elders, recognizing the value of their words and experiences. Help them to walk in the footsteps of humility, for it is through humility that true greatness is achieved.
As my child grows and matures, I ask for Your divine intervention to shape their character, so that they may possess a servant's heart. Teach them, O Lord, to be attuned to the needs of others, and to have empathy and compassion for those around them. May they develop a genuine desire to extend a helping hand, to offer comfort and support to those who are hurting. Grant them the strength and wisdom to navigate life's challenges with humility, always seeking to uplift and encourage others along their own journey.
Lord, I surrender my child into Your loving care, knowing that You are the ultimate source of wisdom and guidance. Mold my sweet little one into a vessel of humility, that they may shine Your light in this world and be a blessing to all those they encounter.
