Week 36
At 36 weeks pregnant, your baby is the size of a head of romaine lettuce. These precious days mark a time of great anticipation as your little one eagerly prepares to make their grand entrance into the world. Most babies are settling into the head-down position at this stage, getting ready for the journey of birth. The cozy environment of the womb has been the perfect cocoon for nurturing their development, and now they are almost ready to meet you face-to-face.
Scripture: Genesis 2:18
The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”
Prayer: Relationships
Dear Lord,
I come before You with a heartfelt prayer for my child, who is soon to enter this world. I pray that You would bless them with meaningful relationships with others who have an intimate relationship with You. Surround my little one with friends, mentors, and loved ones who will encourage and uplift them in their journey of faith.
Lord, I specifically lift up the future spouse of my child, should they choose to marry. Just as it is written in Genesis 2:18, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him." I pray that You would orchestrate their paths to cross with someone who shares a deep and genuine love for You. May their future spouse be a source of support, love, and encouragement in their walk with You, and may their union be grounded in faith and mutual respect.
As my child grows and navigates the path of life, I ask for Your divine guidance and wisdom. May they be discerning in their relationships, seeking companions who will spur them on to grow spiritually and walk steadfastly with You. Grant them the courage to wait for the right person, knowing that Your timing is perfect.
Thank You, dear Lord, for the gift of this precious life. I entrust my child's future into Your loving hands, knowing that You have a beautiful plan for them. May they find joy and fulfillment in their relationships, and may Your love shine through every aspect of their lives.
